PRISM was launched in June 2012 supporting the greater North Fulton community in Georgia. With input from families, schools, and other professionals, the feedback received indicated after high school program choices for adults with developmental disabilities were limited. There simply were not enough community inclusive programs to serve this special needs adult population. As a community, there was a strong demand for more services.
The founders of PRISM recognized that the best way to fill the gap was to develop a program of our own to meet these needs. With the generous support of the North Metro Miracle League (“NMML”) and armed with a vision, passion, and an “out of the box” attitude, PRISM was born.
